SUMMARY

The aim of this course is to provide an overview of the inspection of in-service lifting equipment as required by the Statutory Instruction SI 2307. The course reviews the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) along with other relevant legislation. The course looks at the documentation required and various inspection techniques used.
